Hello!
Hi, I’m Philippa.
Experience
I began my career in financial services back in 2001, working for a leading building society.
I trained initially as a Mortgage & Insurance Advisor, before then developing into a Mobile Financial Advisor role covering Devon and Cornwall.
After some years, I ended up back where my passion had always remained and became a Business Development Manager within the Mortgage Intermediaries Division, for Nationwide & The Mortgage Works. The Business Development role saw me look after key mortgage accounts and networks across South Wales and the Bristol & Bath area, with service and relationships being key to support mortgage brokers within their businesses.
This was when I realised, I missed being on the frontline and at the start of 2017, began my self-employed journey as one of the founding members of Kingsbridge Mortgage Advice and I haven’t looked back.
The company has grown from strength to strength over the last few years, winning awards along the way and I very proudly became the Principal Director of Kingsbridge at the start of 2025, getting the privilege of leading our amazing team of brilliant advisors and hopefully, to steer Kingsbridge towards even more success and growth into the future.
Outside of work
I relocated from the Bristol area back home to Mid-Devon in 2023, so now get to spend more time with my gorgeous family and friends and getting back to my love of being outdoors, whether it’s out in the garden or up hiking on the nearby moors with our two nutty dogs leading the way!!
